The event was part of the school’s poetry week and Andy began the day by performing some of his work to the whole school.
He then joined classes for individual workshops throughout the day to help show the children how writing poetry was done.
At the end of the day each class performed some of their poems to the rest of the school as a way of celebrating all the learning from the day.
Throughout the week each class wrote a variety of different types of poetry.
