To mark Holocaust Memorial Day on 27th January Spanish concert pianist Maria Garzon will be performing at The Crossing at the beginning of February.
Along with actor Stuart Andrews they will be showing a short and moving documentary on the composer and author Viktor Ullmann together with some of his music and poems, composed whilst he was in a concentration camp.
Maria will also be showcasing the talents of Edward Elgar and Manuel de Falla.
Maria will be at The Crossing in Newcastle Street on Saturday 1st February which will be first concert of 2014.
The show start at 7.30pm and doors open at 6.45pm.
Tickets are priced at £9, £8 for concessions and £4 for under 16’s.
