Worksop: School warning after female seen 'beckoning' and trying to talk to students
Safety concerns have been raised after a female was seen 'beckoning' to students and trying to get them to talk to her as they walked home from school in Worksop.
Parents of pupils at Outwood Academy Valley on Valley Road have been alerted to the incident, which happened at around 3pm yesterday, by text.
The text reads: “It has been reported that a female tried beckoning students to talk to her on their way home.
“We will remind students of the importance of not talking to strangers.”
