Worksop: Police seize wrap of heroin from man who was trying to climb out of a window

Tony Lee Dilkes of Lynchet Lane, Worksop, pleaded guilty to possessing heroin when he appeared before Mansfield Magistrates on Wednesday, October 22.

Dilkes, who is 26-years-old, was found climbing out of a window at Northwood on August 24 and police seized a wrap of heroin.

Dilkes told them he had bought the class A drug for £5 from a friend and that it was for his own use.

He said he was not a heroin addict but admitted to dabbling with the drug.

Dilkes, who is unemployed, was fined £40 by magistrates. He was also ordered to pay a victim surcharge of £20, a criminal courts charge of £180 and was ordered to pay a contribution of £40 to court costs.
