Worksop Police attend suspected Watson Road overdose
A WORKSOP man was taken to hospital after a suspected drug overdose last night (Tuesday 27th March) .
A number of ambulances and police cars were seen lining Watson Road at around 5.30pm.
A Notts Police spokesman said that a man had taken a suspected overdose but was refusing to be taken to hospital, so police were called in to assist and to protect the safety of paramedics.
The man was taken to Bassettlaw Hospital and has since discharged himself.
