Worksop: Police appeal after theft of gold jewellery and precious WWI helmet

Nott Police are appealing for information after a burglary at a house in Worksop.

The appeal comes after a large amount of white gold jewellery was taken, including yellow gold cufflinks and a French First World War helmet.

The helmet has ‘survivor of the first world war’ written in French on the front.

The burglary is believed to have occurred between 8.30am on Saturday 22nd March and 6pm on Sunday 23rd March 2015 on Sparken Hill, Worksop.

The helmet pictured is not the one taken but one similar in appearance.
