Worksop: Pawnbrokers preparing Christmas treat for poorly children
Poorly youngsters on the Children’s Ward at Bassetlaw Hospital will have a special treat this Christmas thanks to H&T Pawnbrokers in Worksop.
Staff and customers at the shop have been busy fundraising to buy toys, which will be given to the ward. Donations of toys have also been flooding into the shop.
The latest fundraising event was on Saturday when a buffet was available to shoppers for a small donation.
Deputy manager Jade Staples said: “ We raised around £100, which was great.”
