Worksop: Open weekend event raises funds for Bassetlaw Hospice

All Occasions Cards and Gifts Photography Studio has raised more than £400 for charity during a special open weekend to launch their new shop.

All Occasions Cards and Gifts and Photography Studio on Gateford Road held a fundraising day for the Bassetlaw Hospice G131123-4

The business on Gateford Road, Worksop hosted a range of activities including face painting , a cake sale and raffle.

Visitors also had the opportunity to have their photograph taken with one of the various visiting mascots, including Tatty Teddy and Micky Mouse. Each photograph was printed instantly in store, with all proceeds going to the hospice.

During the evening the mascots went into the town centre and continue raising funds.

The total raised was £416.94.

Helen Eshelby, fundraising and events co-ordinator at the hospice, said they are always thrilled when people want to put events on and raise money for the charity.
