Worksop: North Notts College business students to hold Fairtrade event

The event will hold a selection of Fairtrade products to sell such as coffee, tea, banana smoothies and cakes.

There will also be a stand selling Fairtrade items.

Some of the products the students will be using will have been donated by Sainsbury’s and Co-op and the rest have been funded by the student union of the college.

All money raised will be given to Water-Aid, a chosen charity from the student union and the organisers, as Fairtrade is a large part of Water-Aid.

The students will be running the event and some have even volunteered to wear banana costumes in order to drum up some customers on the day.
