Worksop: Millhouse pub raises whopping £1,000 in donations for Cancer Research UK
Sizzling pub The Millhouse in Worksop has raised over £1,000 for Cancer Research UK. The Millhouse engaged with the local community in Worksop to help raise money for the worthy cause. The team hosted a range of fun days and engaged in various ice bucket challenges to raise money for the cancer charity. Sizzling Pubs have raised £122,599 up and down the UK so far.
Wendy Pettinger, general manager, said: “We’re always looking for ways to engage with the local community, so this was a perfect initiative for us to get involved with.”
