Worksop: ‘Mentalist’ will perform psychological illusions at Masonic Hall

A would-be Derren Brown hopes to wow Worksop audiences with his mind reading skills and illusions at the Masonic Hall .

Nicholas Tyler, of Woodsetts, will perfom his new show ‘C.L.U.E.D.O’ on Friday 25th July.

A psychology student who draws inspiration from celebrity mentalists Deren Brown and Tony Corinda, Nicholas has always been fascinated with the mysteries of the human mind.

He said: “I’ve always had an interest in how we work psychologically, and have practiced magic for many years.”

“My show will focus on both mind reading and magic. I will be painting an image from someone’s mind that should be identical when they reveal what they imagined.”

“I will also be creating a haunted doll in which the dolls movements will be mirrored by an audience member.”

“All this will lead up to a grand finale.”

“I’ll be appearing around Worksop town center over the next few weeks performing a sneak peek of my work to shoppers.”

“Of course, I do feel nervous about the show- but professionalism is key.”

“I’m looking forward to using the pressure to create the right tone for the evening.”

Tickets are priced at £10 with buffet included.
