Worksop: March at Shireoaks Colliery will mark 30th anniversary of miners’ strike
There will be a march in Worksop this Thursday (5th March) at the former Shireoaks Colliery site to mark the 30th anniversary of the miners’ strike.
Participants will meet at Shireoaks Marina, Marina Road, at 9am and walk up and down the lane to the old pit yard before laying a wreath in remembrance of past miners.
All are welcome to attend.
