The youth, who can not be named for legal reasons, was due at Nottingham Crown Court for a plea and case management hearing earlier today (Friday 12th July).

But the hearing did not go ahead because he was not brought to the court from the secure unit where he is in custody.

The case was adjourned until Friday 26th July.

Mr Kitchens, 40, of the Sunnyside area of town, died of head trauma after an alleged assault on Bridge Street, Worksop, on Saturday 6th April.

Six teenagers were arrested in the aftermath of the tragedy, but only one was charged.
