Worksop: Man tries to snatch purse from woman at a Kilton bus stop

It happened at about 11.30am on Saturday 25th January at the bus stop outside the Larwood Health Centre, in Larwood Avenue.

A 51-year-old woman had her purse out ready for the 11.35am bus into Worksop when the man walked towards her and tried to grab it from her hand. When he let go she fell to the floor.

He fled empty-handed towards Goldsmith Road. The woman was left shaken but unharmed.

The man was white, of slim build and average height. He looked to be in his late teens or 20s. He was wearing the hood up of his blue jacket, which had yellow and orange stripes around the middle, and grey bottoms.
