Worksop: Man tried to flog Wimbledon tickets on Gumtree that did not exist

A Worksop man pleaded guilty to falsely advertising Wimbledon tickets on the internet which did not exist.

Adam Moxon, 29, of Elms Road, admitted two charges of fraud by false representation at Worksop Magistrates’ Court on Thursday 30th October.

The court heard that on 26th June 2014, Moxon tried to sell Wimbledon tickets on the Gumtree website for a price of £300.

And on 4th July 2014, Moxon again advertised Wimbledon tickets that did not exist, for a price of £500.

He also admitted stealing £60 in cash.

The case was adjourned until 5th November at Mansfield Magistrates.
