Dean Peacock, 28, of Sandhill House, took the Yamaha on 18th September 2014.

The court heard how at around 4.45pm the owner of the bike parked up and returned 40 minutes later to the car park.

A security guard approached him and told him that his bike had been recovered after being stolen.

Peacock made full and frank admissions to police in interview and said it was a ‘spur of the moment thing.’

In mitigation it was said that it was an ‘opportunistic theft.’ The case was adjourned until 17th October.
