Worksop: Man pleads guilty to trying to steal whiskey

A man who tried to steal six bottles of whiskey from a Worksop supermarket, has pleaded guilty at Worksop Magistrates’ Court.

Gareth Davies, 32, of Rayton Spur, Worksop, claimed he was getting them for his grandmother, who he was meeting at the store.

He was given a three-month curfew and ordered to pay a £60 victim surcharge.
