Worksop: Man in critial condition after crash
A man is in a critical condition in hospital following crash in Worksop yesterday (Monday 18th November).
The accident, involving a lorry and a silver Vauxhall Astra, happened around 7.30pm on Shireoaks Road, near to The Lock Keeper pub.
The driver of the Astra was taken to the Northern General Hospital in Sheffield with serious injuries and remains in a critical condition, said a Notts Police spokesman.
His passenger suffered minor injuries.
Part of Shireoaks Road and Sandy Lane were closed while emergency services attended the scene.
