Worksop: Man charged with drink-driving after Gladstone Street smash

Police have a charge a man with drink-driving following an accident in Worksop last weekend.

A police spokesman said: “We were called to a reports of an incident involving a Vauxhall Vectra being in collision with a Toyota Yaris in Gladstone Street, Worksop, in the early hours of last Saturday morning (28th June).

The Toyota also hit the side of a house but there were no reported injuries to residents or anyone in the vehicles involved.

Robert Antkow, 37, of Potter Street in the town, has since been charged with driving a vehicle while over the legal alcohol limit and driving otherwise in accordance with a licence.

He has been bailed to appear before Worksop magistrates on Thursday ,10th July.
