Daniel Sweeney, of Northwood Flats, was charged on 31st December 2014 and appeared at court on 1st January 2015.
Police were called to a property on Dickens Road at around 10pm after an elderly lady was allegedly held at knife point in her home, with presents and cash taken.
The case was adjourned until 26th January at Notts Crown Court.
