Jamie Hattel, 28, of Potter Street, Worksop, pleaded guilty at Mansfield Magistrates’ Court on Thursday 12th April.

The court heard that Hattel took the joints of meat, valued at £10, from Asda on Raymouth Lane on 12th March 2015.

The magistrates said that a letter from Framework had helped them with the sentencing of Hattel, in which it stated that this was a ‘point of change’ in his life.

Hattel, who is already subject to a community order, was discharged conditionally for 12-months, ordered to pay £50 costs and a £15 victim surcharge.
