Worksop: 'Lovely gentleman' George turns 105
Staff and residents at a Worksop care home gathered to celebrate the birthday of George Arnold as he hit his 105th milestone in February. George, who is originally from Worksop has been a resident of Victoria care home on Memorial Avenue for three months, turned 105 on Friday, February 19.
Members of George’s family joined him for a party on his special day and presented him with a “105” cake.
Jackie Child, senior carer, said: “George is a lovely and independent gentleman and has some great tales to tell.”
