Worksop: It’s game on at Welbeck Farm Shop as they celebrate British Food Fortnight
Welbeck Farm Shop is celebrating British Food Fortnight with a plentiful selection of game sourced locally from the historic north Notts ducal estate.
The Welbeck game on offer includes venison, rabbit, hare, wood pigeon, partridge and pheasant which can all be prepared by the in-store butchers to meet individual needs. The game is available in many cuts in recognition that it can be used in many different recipes
General manager Oliver Stubbins said: “For anyone who is nervous of trying game for the first time or looking for guidance on the right cut to use for a specific dish, we can offer lots of friendly advice.”
