Holy Family School in Worksop started an exciting new curriculum as Years One to Six enjoyed a morning at the Savoy Cinema in the town.
As part of the school’s topic this half term on ‘Sacrifice’, Years One to Three children received a special invitation to Hogwarts and this was followed up by watching a special screening of a Harry Potter film. Youngsters in Years Four to Six didn’t miss out as they also enjoyed a special showing of CS Lewis’s The Lion, the Witch and the Wardrobe.
A school spokesman said: “The excitement continued back at school thanks to the exciting displays and even one of the classrooms having to be entered through an actual wardrobe!”
“Our thanks go to the staff at the Savoy and Manfredi’s Ices.”
