Jobseekers are being offered expert advice on preparing the perfect CV at a special session in Worksop next month.
The event, being organised by Nottinghamshire County Council through its work clubs, is free of charge and open to anyone currently looking for a job.
It will be held at Worksop Library on 5th November from 10am-12noon.
Councillor Diana Meale, chairman of economic development at Nottinghamshire County Council, said: “Employers will often see your CV before they see you, so it is absolutely vital that you create a favourable impression and include the right information they are looking for.
“Many of the people who come to our work clubs have limited experience of preparing a CV, often because they’ve not had to in the past or they have recently lost a long-term job and are out of practice.”
