The Anchor Inn in Worksop re-opened its doors at the weekend - and the night has been hailed a complete success.
Visitors to the pub on Eastgate were entertained on Friday 10th July with live 80s music from Mr President and a Rod Stewart tribute the following night by Tony Julian.
Owners Mark and Angela Rawlins are in their eighth year of running the pub and say they have a number of events coming up including a Sunday quiz night and plenty of entertainment over the upcoming August Bank Holiday weekend.
“We were very busy, it was a great opening,” Mark said.
“We are offering the people of Worksop something different,”
“We are keen to focus on fine dining and we also have 15 different continental beers and 15 different flavour of ciders,” Mark added.
