Liam Buckley, 23, who attended Redlands Primary School and Outwood Academy Valley, was diagnosed with terminal bowel cancer on July, 4 2014, and it has now spread to his liver and lungs.

Over £3,000 has so far been raised for ‘Liam’s Dream Fund’ - a charity page set-up by a family friend to help make Liam’s last wish of visiting the seaside come true.

And now former East Midlands United (EMU) junior football team manager, Malcolm Reynolds, is urging any former EMU players to come forward to play in the tournament at North Notts Area, Friday. August 28, 6pm, to help generate more funds.

To get involved, call Malcolm on 01909 472046.
