Worksop: First World War helmet stolen in burglary

Notts Police are appealing for information after a burglary at a house in Worksop.

The appeal comes after a large amount of white gold jewellery was taken, including yellow gold cufflinks and a French First World War helmet.

The helmet has ‘survivor of the first world war’ written in French on the front.

The burglary is believed to have happened between 8.30am on Saturday 22nd March and 6pm on Sunday 23rd March in Sparken Hill, Worksop.

The helmet which is pictured is not the one taken, but is similar in appearance.
