Worksop: Family donates over £500 to hospital

A Worksop family have donated more than £500 to Hallamshire Hospital’s Neurocare Unit.

Irene Revell, and her son Paul Oldfield, went to the hospital to hand over a cheque for £534.80 to staff at the Unit.

They chose the Neurocare Unit for the money as Paul has himself received care there in the past.

“We held a lot of little community events in the local area, things like raffles and bingo sessions,” said Irene.

“We are very grateful to everyone who either helped us in some way, or donated money to the cause.”

“In particular, we would like to thank our friends and family for all their support.”

“We’re delighted to have raised the money we did and we are delighted to help the Neurocare Unit at Hallamshire as they do such a fantastic job.”
