Simon Jones, 32, who moved to South Wales after resigning from Notts Police admitted having sexual relationships with two victims, including an instance of having sex while on duty.

The ex-constable was jailed for two years on 16th November 2012 at Nottingham Crown Court.

The Police and Crime Commissioner has confirmed that Jones will have 50 per cent of the contributions to their force pensions forfeited.

The process involves the aggrieved Police Force applying to the Home Secretary to consider whether the former officers’ offence was either gravely injurious to the interests of the State or liable to lead to serious loss of confidence in the public service.

Once the Home Secretary confirms this to be the case, the PCC also allows the officer an opportunity to make representations, prior to issuing the forfeiture certificate.
