Staff from the Co-operative Funeral Care on Gateford Road are urging members of the Worksop community to donate Easter eggs to the funeral home for the benefit of the town’s branch of Woman’s Aid and Bluebell Wood Childrens Hospice.

Joanna Jackson, of Co-operative Funeral Care, said: “There are many youngsters in the Worksop area who may welcome a bit of extra cheer this Easter.

“As a business at the heart of the community, we want to do our bit by trying to put a smile on as many children’s faces as we possibly can,” she added.

The Easter eggs can be handed to members of staff at the funeral home before Wednesday, March 22.

Co-operative Funeral Care will then distribute the eggs to disadvantaged and poorly children in Worksop and the surrounding area just in time for Easter.
