Worksop: Drinkers raise cash for prostate cancer at town pub

A Worksop pub has helped raise hundreds of pounds for a charity at a Motown and Soul Night.

The evening was held on 27th February at the Norfolk Arms pub in aid of prostate cancer.

Locals donated more than 30 raffle prizes as drinkers dug deep to raise as much as cash as possible.

Lenny Richardson said: “I would really like to thank the landlady for hosting the event.”

“I would also like to thank all my family and friends for donating the raffle prizes.”

Prostate cancer is the most common cancer in men in the UK, with over 40,000 new cases diagnosed every year.
