Worksop: Donation made to hospital
The family of the former chairman of Bassetlaw Council, Terry Walters, have made a donation of £500 in his memory to Bassetlaw Hospital.
The family donated the money to the League of Friends of Bassetlaw Hospital and they chose the A&E Department to be the lucky benefactors.
The department has spent the money in the children’s waiting area and have purchased children’s sofas, a Lego table, toy garage and a Kidz-Star touch-screen tablet.
Members of Mr Walters’ family also visited the hospital to see how the money had been spent.
