Worksop: David Hawke urges residents to donate to Christmas toy appeal

Toys are now being taken for an appeal which will help less fortunate children receive a present this Christmas.

David Hawke Property Services, on Bridge Street, Worksop, will be accepting toys to deliever to children in Bassetlaw who may not be able to get a visit from Santa this year.

The toys have to be new and can be donated for children from new born up to 16-years-old.

David Hawke began there toy appeal on Friday 14th November, however they have not had many toys donated yet and are urging the public to think about adding just one extra Christmas present to their shopping list

Val Casey, officer manager, said: “ We want as many local businesses as possible to get involved in the toy appeal, if they can.”

“We want to raise awareness for children who won’t get anything at Christmas.”

“Everyone who brings in a toy into the office on Bridge Street will be entered into a free raffle to win a very special prize.”

“We have some very big prizes over the years including a bike, M&S and Argos vouchers.”

This year’s exciting raffle prize is yet to be decided.
