The move is expected to create seven new jobs over the next 12 months.

These new jobs are in addition to the 21 staff already employed at the Imagenta site. All these employees will be transferred to the Rototek payroll on their existing terms and conditions.

This acquisition will increase Rototek’s annual sales to more than £5million the total workforce to over 70

The deal expands Rototek’s range of rotational moulding machines, adding the three bi-axial machines at the Worksop site to the five ‘rock and roll’ machines and the Leonardo machine Rototek already operate at their Newark factory.

This move is an established part of Rototek’s strategic business development plan, which calls for increased manufacturing capacity, the broadening of the range of rotational moulding machines that the company operates, and the opening of a second operating site.

The increased capability and flexibility provided by the acquisition is aimed at improving customer service.

Both companies manufacture a wide range of technical and high volume products including dinghies, hospital furniture, rainwater harvesting tanks and grit bins.
