Retford Lions, Edwinstowe and Dukeries Lions and Worksop and Mansfield Lions, chose to support Bluebell Wood Children’s Hospice after hearing about the benefits of the bags. They contain a chilled compartment for medicine, respiratory equipment, a stethoscope, thermometer and iPads, preloaded with medical software.

John Battersby, of Retford Lions, said: “We were really impressed with the concept of the community nurse kit bags, especially as it will assist Community Nurses in often difficult situations.”
