Worksop: Co-operative Funeralcare donates cash to good causes

The Co-operative Funeralcare in Worksop has donated hundreds of pounds to good causes in the local area.

The funeral director on Gateford Road, collected 212 Easter eggs and raised £222 for Bluebell Wood Children’s Hospice, £172 for Bassetlaw Hospital Labour Ward and £50 for Bassetlaw Food Bank.

A spokesman said: “Many thanks to Tesco Worksop, Sainsbury’s, Superpets, Greencore, staff and the general public who without their generosity we wouldn’t have been able to help so many people.”
