Charity worker Emma Longmore faced up to her biggest fear – heights – when she did a tandem skydive for Worksop charity Hope Community Services.

Emma, a development officer at Hope, did her dive at the Langar, British Parachute School.

Emma said “The 15-minute fly up there was the worst part for me.

Your mind goes into overdrive, and all you do is look out of the window and think,’wow this is so high’.

“The second scariest part of it all was the free fall.

“You’re free falling for about 50 seconds, going at around 110mph.

“It is beyond freezing up there and the wind is insane.

“You literally cannot breathe! It’s terrifying.

“I am really glad that I have done it though, and managed to raise a great amount of money for an amazing charity”

Emma has so far managed to raise £295.00 in donations, with £40.00 in Gift Aid.

“If you haven’t done so already, but would like to, you can still donate to Emma’s Just giving page, which will remain active for another month.
