The Worksop British Heart Foundation (BHF) shop in Worksop has marked an important milestone by celebrating it’s 25th birthday.
Shop staff and volunteers marked the occasion with a fancy dress birthday party and certificates were awarded to people who have been volunteering at the shop for over one year.
Linda Puchala, BHF area manager, said: “We’ve enjoyed a fantastic 25 years of business in our Worksop shop.
“I’d like to take this opportunity to thank all our loyal customers and volunteers who really make this shop special and help the BHF fund our life-saving heart research.
“We are looking forward to welcoming even more customers in the shop and making the next 25 years just as successful.
“Please do keep us in mind if you are having a clear-out at home in the future as we are always in need of items to fill our rails including clothing, books and bric-a-brac.
“If you would rather give the gift of time and have a few hours to spare each week, please get in touch as an extra pair of hands to volunteer and help out in the shop is always appreciated.
“Join the fight for every heartbeat today and help fund our life-saving heart research.”
Located on Bridge Street, in Worksop, the shop offers a wide range of goods such as clothes, shoes, accessories, DVDs, books and CDs.
The funds raised from the BHF shops helps to fund life saving heart research and continue the fight for every heartbeat.
