Worksop: Attempted robbery at Post Office

It happened at around 2pm at the precinct’s branch, off Gloucester Road.

Two men, with their faces covered, entered the building, threatened a member of staff, and attempted to smash a glass screen.

They fled empty-handed in a red Renault Laguna, which was later recovered in South Yorkshire. The car is now being forensically examined.

The victim was left shaken but uninjured. There were no customers in the Post Office at the time.
