Worksop: A bit of sparkle for friendly family local

The Ashley in Worksop reopened on Thursday 16th October after undergoing a makeover to bring a bit of sparkle to the family friendly local.

Work on the Hungry Horse pub in Carlton Road was completed in just 17 days and included an overhaul of the restaurant area, a new back bar fitting and a number of new TVs installed around the pub.

To celebrate the reopening a special VIP event was held for local businesses before the doors were opened to the general public, who were entertained with a magician, a visit from Super Horse and the pub’s popular weekly keypad electronic quiz in the evening.

Pub managers Charles and Joanne Blakemore said: “The pub was in need of a bit of a refresh and the makeover was just the job. The difference it has made is amazing.”
