Worksop: 17-year-old pleads not guilty to raping jogger
A 17-year-old has pleaded not guilty to raping a woman who was out jogging in Worksop.
However the teenager, who cannot be named for legal reasons, admitted assault by penetration and to causing grievous bodily harm with intent.
The alleged attack happened on Tuesday 1st April 2014 on Eddison Park Avenue. He was arrested two days later on Thursday 3rd.
The youngster, of no fixed abode, appeared at Nottingham Crown Court on Monday 1st September.
He was remanded in custody and a trial date was set for Friday 10th October.
