Witness appeal after Clarborough crash at weekend

POLICE have issued an appeal for witnesses to a car crash near Clarborough on Saturday night.

Two men and a woman were taken to hospital in Lincoln after two cars collided on the A620 at Clarborough Hill.

Emergency services were called at around 6.50pm where they found a beige Land Rover had been involved in a collision with a silver Mini.

The driver of the Land Rover, a 32-year-old Harworth man, was out of the vehicle when they arrived at the scene.

He was taken to hospital in Lincoln where he remains in a stable condition.

Fire crews from Retford used cutting equipment to release a 64-year-old female passenger from the Mini.

She was also taken to hospital in Lincoln where she remains in a stable condition in intensive care.

The male driver of the Mini was released from hospital after an overnight stay. The pair are from Sussex.

The road was closed for four hours after the crash.
