West Lindsey: Number of burglaries in rural villages

A number of daytime burglaries have taken place in the rural areas of West Lindsey last week.

On November 18, a number of incidents were reported to have taken place in Saxilby, Scampton, Cammeringham and Marton.

All the offences occurred between around 10am to around 3pm. In each case a low level window was smashed and cash and jewellery were predominantly taken from each property.

Officers have asked for any information for the public and anyone who may have seen anything or anything suspicious in any of the areas to get in touch.

Specifically, officers are keen to hear from anyone who may have seen anything unusual or out of place in the areas of Mill Lane in Saxilby, High Street in Scampton, Stow Park Road in Marton and the Marton and Stow Park areas.

Anyone with information is asked to call Lincs Police on 101 quoting incident 240 of November 18. Or alternatively call the independent charity Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111.
