The first paint a pot sessions are on Monday, October 26 led by ceramicist Lucianna Gallucci, one of the Harley Studios resident artists whose work can be seen in galleries and shops around the UK, as well as Paris and New York.

The 30-minute workshops will see children enjoy a messy session painting, glazing and splodging a mug to take home.

Sessions are £10 per item and children should be accompanied by an adult at all times.

Times are 11am, 12noon and 12.30pm and sessions must be pre-booked on 01909 501700.

On display at the Harley gallery now is Brick City, a free exhibition of more than 50 architectural models of famous buildings created from Lego bricks, including a working replica of St Pancras Station in London.

Taking inspiration from Big City are the free big draw workshops where children have to draw their local landmarks, from houses to the Savoy Cinema to Bolsover Castle, to be put together to create a giant map.

Running in the gallery’s education space, the hour-long workshops run twice daily from October 27 to 29 at 11am and 12noon.

Adults must stay with their children at all times, to book a place, call 01909 501700.
