WEEKEND WEATHER: Rain, sun and frost in Notts

People heading out this weekend should be prepared for all weathers, as forecasters have predicted sun, rain and frost in Nottinghamshire this weekend.

The Met Office has forecast a cold start across the region on Saturday (April 23).

There will be plenty of sunshine throughout the morning, but becoming cloudy throughout the afternoon with showers likely in some places. Highs of 11°C.

The showers will die away by Saturday evening, with frost expected to develop overnight. Lows of 0°C.

Sunday (April 24) will begin with a frost, but sunny spells will develop throughout the day with scattered showers in some areas. Highs of 9°C.
