Worksop basks in sunny weather as temperatures soar to 23C - but when will heatwave end?

Worksop is enjoying a second day of temperatures well above the March average – but when will the mini-heatwave come to an end?

Although the weather remains dry tomorrow and into the Easter weekend, residents are being warned to expect a big dip in temperatures.

Tomorrow the mercury will plunge to 11C – closer to average but half the temperature we have enjoyed on Tuesday and Wednesday.

Worksop residents Raeanne and Keir Foster enjoyed a sunny bike ride in Clumber Park for Keir's birthday today.

And it is a similar picture for Easter, with dry weather predominating but temperatures stalled at around 10 or 11C.

There is evening a warning that Nottinghamshire could see some wintry showers as temperatures plunge to 7C on Monday and Tuesday, according to the Met Office.
