Thunderstorm warning for Nottinghamshire issued by Met Office

The Met Office has issed a ‘yellow warning’ from noon until midnight on Saturday, July 25.
Experts say that while many places will miss the heaviest showers, bands of thunderstorms will ‘likely bring some disruption’ in places.

Hide AdThis includes ‘a good chance’ driving conditions will be affected by spray, standing water and/or hail, leading to longer journey times by car and bus.
Some short term loss of power and other services is also likely.
The Met Office says some flooding of a few homes and businesses is likely, leading to some damage to buildings or structures.

Delays to train services are possible, according to the Met Office warning.
