Wear helmets
NOTTS County Council is urging cyclists to take extra care this summer when going out on their bikes.
Head injuries are the main cause of death resulting from cycle accidents it states, while recommending cycle helmets should be worn on every journey to reduce risk of injury in the event of an accident.
