Warning to horse owners

HORSE owners are warned to be aware of a suspicious man who has been visiting equestrian properties which are for sale.

The man, using the name Roy Archer, has a strong Irish accent has been to three equestrian properties in the Welton and Hemswell areas.

He claims to be interested in buying them, and shows a heavy interest in the access routes to and from the properties and the horses themselves.

He has given inconsistent stories at each property about his occupation.

He was driving a gold Rover 75 saloon car, thought to have a 53 registration plate.
